The Go.NIU link shortener has an exciting new feature. When you use the Go.NIU platform to create a shorter version of a URL (webpage address), the system will now provide a corresponding QR code. When users scan the QR code, they’ll be directed to the Go.NIU URL you set in the system.
Multiple design options are available for QR codes, including some that use the NIU logo, helping you promote brand consistency across communications.
How to Download Your QR Code
First, you’ll need to request a Go.NIU URL on the go.niu.edu platform. NIU employees (including student employees) can access the platform by signing in with their NIU ID and password.
After your request is reviewed and approved, you can download the associated QR code by following these steps:
- Sign in to the Go.NIU platform.
- Select Manage My Go.NIU URLs.
- Select Edit for the desired URL.
- Expand the “Download a corresponding QR code” option to see available design options.
- Select Download for the desired design.
