Refresher Training for Website Updates for 2025 is now open. If you’re a web coordinator, manager or administrator who submits or makes web updates for your department, you must complete this training by Dec. 5, 2025, to continue in this role.

How do I access the training?
Follow these steps to complete refresher training for 2025:
- Log in to Blackboard with your NIU account ID.
- Select Organizations in the navigation.
- Go to Refresher Training for Website Updates.
What is the training about?
The training focuses on web content strategy and processes. It consists of the following sections:
- Digital document accessibility compliance
- Accessible Microsoft 365 documents
- SharePoint folder request
- Qualtrics
- Kuali Build
- Microsoft Forms
- Freshdesk request tips
You’ll watch a brief video and take a short quiz on each topic.
Will I get a certificate of completion?
No, Blackboard doesn’t issue a certificate of completion, but you’ll receive a confirmation email after you submit each assessment. Your results will also be documented in Blackboard.
